Al-Mabarat Benevolent Society is committed to protecting your privacy. Any information that you provide to us remains private and is only used for the purposes outlined below. The identity of anyone who contacts us is kept confidential. We don't rent, sell or exchange our contact lists with any other organisation.

What information is collected

Unless you choose otherwise, you do not have to provide any personal information. If you do choose to provide information, then we typically ask you for the following details, depending on your interests:

• your Al-Mabarat Benevolent Society supporter number
• credit card numbers.

How information is used

This information is collected to ensure that we can process donations, provide receipts, send information about Al-Mabarat Benevolent Society and to get in touch with our supporters from time to time.

If you become an orphan sponsor, your name and address will be given to our head office in Lebanon, so that they can send you annual progress reports and so that your sponsored child can respond to any correspondence you may send. The Al-Mabarat Benevolent Society head office to whom we send your personal information, is committed to the same standards of protection for your privacy as Al-Mabarat Benevolent Society Australia.

Occasionally, we may use external suppliers to help with mailing information to you. These suppliers are required to sign an agreement to keep your personal information confidential.
